Our restaurant's founder and, now, Chef Performer, Robert Dickson, has been around the culinary and musical block, firmly rooted in classical Italian arias and the best Broadway tunes. He belts our baritone renditions without hardening the elegance of the place. He adds meaningful phrasing to each musical piece sounding like a fine opera singer you have heard before. He embraces the term showman during the five courses of food and service. His highly regarded act is the longest running in Charleston.
Robert's stand-in troupes of talented singers occasionally fill Robert's shoes when he makes guest appearances elsewhere. He or his nightly soloists elevate evenings by singing birthdays and anniversaries, signing menus and Robert's cookbooks and posing for snap shots. Moreover, each guest is thanked as they depart.
